Michigan weather is testing our limits this year. Last week we had tons of rain and this week the heat is out to get us. The lake was our friend this week, it definitely made up for the lost lake time last session.

Nature Sallie and campers always amaze us with their nature finds. We found a baby snapping turtle, some frogs and lots of mud. Glad we can clean off in the lake after swamping.

Campers had a blast cooling off in the lake this week. The heat and humidity was hard but the lake was the best reward.

We are very thankful to our horses. The heat limited the amount of times we could ride but the horses stuck it out for us one day. We pampered them with lots of love, hair dos and baths to cool off.

Everyone loves a good craft. Staying in the shade and making a cool craft with our friends never gets old. We used some recycling materials, we made fruit jam, made some horseshoe decorations and more.

Kitten cuddle puddle! We love the kittens. Everyone always wants to visit. They get so much love from all our campers. They are adoptable too! Contact our office for information on adopting a kitten.

Our kittens are super playful!

Everyday each group has a chore. Some include feeding animals and some are caring for plants. Our campers embraced watering the flowers up at the nature center this morning.

Who doesn't love winning prizes with bingo. On Friday, some counselors play bingo with the campers. Its a nice chill friday activity.

More piglet cuddles please! Our baby pigs love the attention. They are always interested in the things we have.

Thursday we had a theme day! This weeks theme was Jungle Day. Some counselors planned a safari drive through our fields to find hidden counselors and look and animals in the pasture. They even had some great safari animal jokes to fit the theme.

This week's C.O.W is ....... Head counselor Maria Saad (left) of the Barnyard Bandits, Assistant Counselor Brooke Kratz (middle) of the Cow-A-Bungas, and CIT Carter Jenkins (right) of the Scooby Moos. Congratulations counselors, thank you for your amazing work and dedication to our campers!
