Summer Day Camp: 
Head Counselor  - Oxford, Michigan
Seasonal Position - June 15- August 26, 2026, Mandatory Training on June 13-14, 2026
Compensation: Weekly Salary (paid bi-weekly) 

Position Summary: 

We are looking for caring, responsible and energetic head counselors to join our summer camp team. The Head Counselor is the primary leader for their assigned group, ensuring that each camper is safe, engaged, and having fun. This role requires a strong presence, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and care for a group of campers daily, serving as their primary point of support and leadership

  • Lead and participate in a variety of camp activities, including crafts, games, lake activities, nature hikes, farm chores, and animal interactions

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful group dynamic

  • Ensure camper safety, well-being, and emotional health at all times

  • Communicate clearly with fellow staff, camp leadership, and parents when needed

  • Help with daily transitions, snack/lunch times, and cleanup

  • Handle minor injuries, conflicts, or concerns with a calm and proactive approach

  • Set a strong example of kindness, patience, and enthusiasm

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

  • Available to work Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm with one late stay on Wednesday night (ends at 9:00pm) every other week. 

Summer Day Camp: 
Assistant Counselor  - Oxford, Michigan
Seasonal Position - June 15- August 26, 2026, Mandatory Training on June 13-14, 2026
Compensation: Weekly Salary (paid bi-weekly) 

Position Summary: 

As an Assistant Camp Counselor, you’ll be right in the middle of the action! You’ll help lead games and activities, team up with other counselors, dream up new ideas, support campers during lunch, enjoy afternoon lake time, and help kids connect with our amazing farm animals. Most importantly, you’ll build friendships, create positive experiences, and help make camp a safe and joyful place for every child.

If you love being outside, working with kids, and aren’t afraid to be a little silly, this could be the perfect summer job for you!

Horse Camp Director  - Oxford, Michigan
Seasonal Position
Compensation: Weekly Salary (paid bi-weekly) 

Dates: Required:

  • June 15-19

  • June 29-July 3

  • July 13-17

  • July 27-31

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and safety-focused Horse Camp Director to lead our beginner-level horse camp program for children ages 8–12. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids and horses, and who can create a fun and educational camp environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Lead daily horse camp activities for groups of 8–12 campers

  • Teach basic horsemanship skills, including:

    • Grooming

    • Horse handling and safety

    • Basic tack knowledge and terminology

  • Introduce and supervise basic riding skills appropriate for beginners

  • Plan and lead horse-themed crafts and educational activities

  • Ensure a safe environment for both campers and horses at all times

  • Supervise and coordinate with a camp assistant

  • Maintain organization of equipment and camp materials

  • Communicate clearly with campers, staff, and parents as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

  • Comfortable and experienced working around horses

  • Basic knowledge of horsemanship, grooming, and tack

  • Experience working with children (especially ages 8–12) preferred

  • Strong leadership and group management skills

  • Ability to maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment

  • Dependable and punctual

Additional Information:

  • An assistant will be provided to support camp operations
