Half way through the summer...so sad. All is good, we still have many week left to enjoy and make memories. We hope to see you guys in our future sessions.
We got new baby ducks this week! Campers are thrilled. They are the tiniest and the cutest :)
Down at the lake, Kasie helped campers search for salamanders and tad poles. Super cool!
We made sock octupus. Sock-topus! Campers created their octopus however they wanted. Some campers even made some hats out of the scraps for the octopus.
Counselors helped campers make a kindness garden out of rocks to showcase at the farm. Campers painted rocks and wrote a nice quote or message on them.
Farmer Dawn guided campers up at the Nature Center for activities and helped in the garden.
Heidi helped campers design their string art with nails and yarn.
Campers made bean mosaics, chicken cluckers and rainbow fans too.
Our equine dentist was here during the week and she taught some campers about horse teeth and other cool facts!
We have always been successful catching fish down at the lake.
Whole camp nature walk on our improve Nature Trail. It used to be our Story Book Trail and then our Enchanted Forest but now it is our Nature Trail. We have a lot of cool facts about Michigan Nature and species that live in our wooded areas. And of course some photos ops.
This weeks COW's are Bri, Charlotte, Genevieve, and Spencer! Thank you counselors for all of your hard work so far this year. We appreciate all the dedication you bring to our campers and the enthusiasm each day.
