The farm strives to provide your child with a vacation from the everyday stresses. Fun is the priority and learning just happens. We allow campers to choose the activities they enjoy. The most important thing is creating a noncompetitive environment where children of all ages play together and thrive. This is an environment that fosters creativity, independence, self understanding, life-long friendships, and empathy for others.
Across the 240 acres of farm land the fun and exploration is endless. Mornings are spent at the farm exploring the animal barns, horse rides, sports areas, playgrounds, craft areas and more. Campers spend the afternoon in the beautiful natural setting at Prince Lake. The lake includes the beach, swimming areas for all levels, canoes and changing houses.
A Day at Camp

Camp Gate Opens 9:00am

Campers arrive by 9:30am and drop off in the picnic shelter. Campers greet their counselor and set their belongings in group buckets. Lunches go into our commercial walk-in refrigerator as a group so they don't get misplaced.

Free time until the bell rings at 9:30. Meet in the picnic shelter for assembly. Assembly includes playing games, singing songs, taking attendance and finding out what activities are planned for the day.

Each day we start out the day doing animal chores. Each group has one animal chore they are responsible for feeding. This rotates each day! Campers learn how to care for each animal and feed them in the morning. Then it's off the activities.

Activities change from day to day, but most days include: Crafts, Horseback riding, Frog catching, Sports activities, Milking a cow & Making Butter, Teaching a calf to lead, Nature hikes, Campfire cooking, Tie dye (every Wednesday) and never ending games of octoball and lightening.

Lunch is 11: 45 - 12:35 daily (remember to bring a lunch, we provide lemonade and water)

12:35 - 12:45, campers can choose to walk to the lake or ride the hay wagon, all campers must go to the lake with staff

Lake Time - Campers are tested on their first day (Monday) to determine swim level. Campers can also enjoy the following while at the lake: Swimming, Boating, Playing on the beach, Frog and Turtle Catching, Relaxing and Octoball. We have 6 certified lifeguards, and multiple aquatic observers watching the water at all times, along with attendance occurring every 10 minutes.

At 2:45 we say goodbye to the lake and head back to the farm to pack up to go home at 3:30pm.

End of the day Gate opens at 3:15pm. Campers are picked up by 3:45pm.

We also offer morning and after care for campers that need to arrive or stay later than normal camp hours.

Morning latchkey open at 7am and runs until the beginning of camp start.

Afternoon latchkey opens at 3:45pm and runs until 6pm.

Special Camp Days
Late Stay
On all of our even numbered sessions we hold what we call "Late Stays". Every Wednesday on the even sessions we offer an option to stay late at the farm. It is an extra charge to normal camp but completely optional. Campers will attend normal camp and then stay until 9pm. Upland Hills Farm provides dinner and a late snack!
Theme Day
On all of our odd numbered sessions we hold what we call "Theme Days". Every Thursday on the odd sessions we do activities based off a theme. Counselors and Directors dress up, campers are encouraged but it's optional to dress up. Activities are planned based on the theme. There is no extra charge to attend a theme day. We like to add something a little extra special on the weeks we don't hold Late Stays.
