Session Ten Newsletter 2023

The summer has come to an end. We had an amazing time with all of the campers and counselors that attended this summer and hope to see you all again next year! We ended the summer off with a ton of fun activities and even a carnival theme on Friday! It was a great week!

Our puppies are continuing to grow every day. Their personalities are starting to shine. They love to run around and play with the campers. There is still one male puppy up for adoption. He's looking for a forever home. If you're interested you can contact our office.

Happy campers with some puppy love!

We had an eventful Friday! The last day of camp threw us for a loop. Kit-Kat (mama cow) had a baby! It's a girl! She is super cute. This was Kit-Kat's first calf. She struggled during the birthing process but Farmer Andy and Jake helped her bring this bundle of joy into the world with a grand entrance. They are both doing great!

Oh activities! We love doing crafts each week. Some popular activities were iron-on beads, stamp making, constellation boxes and pipe cleaner dragonflies.

We love learning to horseback ride. Campers can choose to ride by themselves or have a counselor lead the horse.

Wednesday's are for tie-dye. It is a very popular activity and the campers don't mind the mess. They can choose the colors and design for their shirts!

Friday was a carnival day! We welcomed the camp into the carnival with confetti canons and the campers ran into the fair! Super fun. We had all the carnival games that campers could play to earn tickets. The tickets could buy them a treat like popcorn or sno-cones or have a chance to dunk a counselor in the dunk tank. Another option that was quite popular is voting for a camp director to get a pie in the face after the carnival was over. The campers seemed to favor one director in particular. Lauren our assistant camp director had the most votes for a pie in the face.

Here is a video of Lauren getting a pie in her face.

The last C.O.W's of the summer.... Our head counselor of the Grilled Chicken, Cooper (Left), our assistant counselor of the Barn Bandits, Clara (middle), and our CIT of the Western Watersnakes, Karl (Right). Thank you for ending the summer off strong, we love you!
