founded by Knight and Dorothy Webster in 1960. Knight was a farm boy
from Wisconsin with a degree in agriculture and Dorothy was an educator.
Their dream was to bring the joys and lessons of rural life to an ever
increasing urban society. School Assembly Program If your school can't come to us, we can come to your school. We simply load up the truck with all different kinds of farm animals and two farmers. Bring everybody into the gym for a farm assembly program that teaches children where our food and fiber come from. This year the Farm will be traveling every Monday through Friday, February 21 through April 29, 2005. Spring School Tours Since 1960, thousands of children have visited the farm each year with their school class. They take a hayride, visit the animals, walk the storybook trail and play on our playgrounds. The Farm is open Monday - Friday starting May 2 through June 10, 2005. Summer Day Camp The Day Camp offers the opportunity for children to spend as few as two weeks or as many as eight weeks on the Farm participating in crafts, games, swimming, riding horses, feeding animals and much more. Day Camp is Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.. The four camp sessions begin on June 20, July 4, July 18, August 1, 2005. Company Picnics The Farm provides a truly unique setting for your company picnic. A day of fun and food for the whole family. Hayrides, barbecue lunch, pony rides, visiting with the animals, sports fields and exclusive use of the farm. Harvest Festival The Farm has a wide assortment of activities awaiting you and your family including a magic show, farm show, pony rides, hayrides, picking a pumpkin from the patch and much more. No need for a reservation, you can just show up with your family and friends to enjoy a day at the farm. The days that we are open are every Saturday & Sunday in the month of October (October 2 - October 31, 2004) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Fall School Tours Fall is the time of harvest, changing leaves and Halloween. Spend a day at the Farm visiting with the animals, going on a hayride, walking the storybook trail and picking a pumpkin from the patch. We will be open Tuesday through Friday October 1 - October 29, 2004. Hayrides Under The Harvest Moon For some unhaunted family fun. Come take a 30 minute hayride through the woods and fields, then enjoy a complimentary beverage and a fresh warm donut. We will be open every Friday and Saturday evening October 1 - October 30, 2004 from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Evening Hayride Parties The Farm is the perfect place to enjoy an evening with a group of friends, family or fellow employees. Hayride Parties are available any evening May through September. Christmas Trees Fresh pre-cut Christmas Trees on the farm. The Christmas season brings beautiful Fraser fir, Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir, White Pine and Spruce trees to our country setting. Join us, beginning November 26th and continuing every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. until Christmas. |
